Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

A/C in my 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country Edition

I am having a problem with my A/C in my Jeep. The A/C had been working fine, but last week when I started my car and tried to turn the A/C on nothing came out. You can feel very faint cool air coming out, but the blower will not kick on at all. I have checked the fuses and it is not a fuse. Could it be the relay? I have had someone look at it and I am hoping it is something simple to fix so I do not have to pay a mechanic to look at it. I appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thank you.

If the blower motor is not running when you turn on the ac or the heat you need to check some voltages to the motor itself. There are a lot of wires and controls that work together for that system to operate. You need to know how to work a multimeter to check the connection to the blower, too much info to post here and I cant show a diagram but try this just to see. With the key in and in the acc position turn on the heater motor, use your hand and just smack on the housing around the blower, should be under the dash on the passanger side of the car, don't slam it but a couple of good feeling raps, use your hand or your hand with a rag around it, if you hear the motor turn on it means it is failing and you should just replace it before it fails you at the worst possible it doesn't make a difference then you have to get out the meter and check voltages, there is a resister in the circuit also. You may need the book on the car though as I said, there is a lot of info to testing this out, but it's not too hard to do, the money you put into a book and a meter is still less that the first hour in a shop..
Best of luck to you!

I have a 1993 jeep Cherokee country that all the lights work but at night my brake lights are non-responsive in the day time they are fine but as soon as i turn my headlights on the brake lights stop...

It sounds like a a bad relay. See if there is a separate relay for the taillight/stoplights and swap it with another relay to see if there is any change.
