I have an '01 montero sport XLS. The dealership can find your code with the serial number of your radio.

They can do this by verifying the VIN number on vehicle. But it will cost you $75 at least. Just for the code.

I have had problems (radio will shut off) when they re-installed the radio below 20 degrees or when hit a bump in the winter time only. Remembering the code is must.

Need radio code for opel corsa factory radio

The radio code comes with the car and is unique to the unit itself. You can either go to a dealer and ask him to find out what the code is from the records kept by the manufacturer, or contact Opel direct, or employ an expert to decode the unit for you

I need code radio, factory:182184

Hold preset buttons 2&3 and 1&4 for approx. 10 whole seconds.

The HU displays LOC, and a 3-digit code. Write this down.

Remove the key from the ignition slot and take the code to radio-code.com. They'll help you from here.

The reset code for the factory installed radio is on a sticker in the glove box. The sticker has 2 set of numbers. The number set with 5 digits is the reset code for your factory installed radio.

I have a 99 gmc and i want to take the factory radio out but it has theft lock and i'm not sure how to get it out, got any ideas?

theft lock is an electric code that keeps the radio from working if the power is disconnected you must reprogram your code to work again if theft lock is not programed by the owner it needs no code to work if you are going to replace it with an after market radio it is mute any way

The battery died on my 2001 eclipse, now the radio only says ''off''?

This is the anti-theft device on your factory radio. When the battery died, the radio thought it had been removed from your car and went into anti-theft mode. When you turned the car back on, the radio should have read "CODE" on the display, at which point you need to enter the factory anti-theft code. After 3 failed attempts at entering the code, it will simply read "OFF" and the radio is locked.

At this point:
- find your factory anti-theft code - it should be in your owner's manual, or you can contact a dealer to retrieve it
- turn the key to the ACC position (radio and accessories on, but engine is off)
- turn on the radio so the display reads "OFF"
- let the car sit for 1 hour
- radio will turn off automatically and reset
- turn the radio on again, and it should read "CODE"
- enter the factory anti-theft code

Make sure you have the code before starting the procedure. To enter the code, use the radio preset buttons. For example, if your code is "4321", hit Preset #1 button four times, Preset #2 three times, Preset #3 two times, and Preset #4 one time. Then hit the "Tape" or "CD" button. Radio should now be unlocked.

Factory stereo code

Factory radio codes are an anti-theft deterrent, they are unique to each radio and car serial number, in order to get the code the dealer will have to access the manufacturers data base, you will need to pull the radio and record the radio model number and the serial number of the chassis of the radio and take it to the dealer, they will not in most cases give the info out over the phone, this would defeat the whole purpose of the code.
