Question about Toyota Pickup

I was installing a new stereo and now my truck will not start. From what I can tell all other electrical components still work. It doesn't even try to turn over. Thoughts?

Why won't my Delco stereo will not power on?
Hi Carol

Their are two possible thing that causes your stereo fail to be working.
1. Power supply terminal is not properly attached.
2. Busted electronic component inside the stereo.
Some stereo, when their is busted component inside, it wont turn on. So you better have it check to authorize technician or by your self.

Why van does not start after new stereo installed?
Hello,
Depending on the year your vehicle was manufactured it is most likely that when your stereo was installed they interfered in some way with your wiring related to your ignition wiring. I would recommend if you had the stereo installed professionally to call them and let them know your having the vehicle towed to their place of business and that there was no such issue prior to them installing the stereo.

you have a serious electrical problem. It is related to the stereo. Disconnect the stereo and hard wire the stereo system directly to the battery with an inline fuse. My spidey senses tell me you are in a german/ european car? Major elevrtoical issues/ design.

There are several causes that might lead to such a problem.

A dead fuel pump (could be the pump, pump relay or wiring circuit);A plugged fuel filter;Low fuel pressure (weak pump or restricted line); or No pulse signal to injectors (bad injector relay or PCM driver circuit).

One of the first things to check is the fuel pump. Then you carry out these tests,

Run a test on this components and you should be able to detect where the problem is from.
Static Fuel Pressure Test, Residual Fuel Pressure Test, Running Fuel Pressure Test, Dead Head Pressure, Fuel Volume Test, Fuel Pressure Regulator Test, Fuel Pressure Drop Test, Scope Tests.
After carrying out these tests, you will be able to tell what component is faulty and how to solve the problem.

Hard to start, new battery Son installed amp and subs for his stereo, now hard to start. Had to jump start to get home, thought it was battery. Disconnected all of the **** he hooked up left on charger 6...
the sound system may have damaged the electrical system burned up ground straps,overheated relays/solenoids and damaged alternator by pulling all that power to operate the system have starter and alternator tested and check the electrical system for damaged or burnt lines and its components

the radio runs the door chimes as well as a number of other components. dash lights things liketha so if your stereo is not working thats why your door chimes are not either. I would start with fuses then look to getting a new stereo only thing ir a n aftermarket harness for that car runs about $150 bucks

Car stereo doesnt work. ive tried a new fuse and still nothing. my wires are all messed up and i need to wire it right. help
buy a wiring harness, they are easy to install and will tell you exactly what wires to connect where. while you're at the store buy a crimp set, 100 times better then using electric tape and easier then soldering.

Toyota Avensis 2000 1.8. The vehicle is engine starting and it quench immediately instead of the engine to be steaming and all the ignition light are on. Please what could be the cause?
