Im tring to remove my wiper motor and having problem getting it out the brcket holding the motor has 2 bolts that not accesiable to remove

Replaces wiper motor and microprocessor. All tests show the wipers should be working - but unless the plug going into the microprocessor is tapped (inside the engine compartment) the wipers will not start.

Those bolts are accessed from inside the vehicle, from under the dash. Here's how:

  • Remove the screw caps from the top of the dashboard.
  • Remove the retaining screws
  • Lift the dash from the rear to pull it clear of the retaining clips
  • Disconnect the defroster duct from the heat/AC module and move it toward the glove box.
  • You should now be able to access the the two bolts holding the wiper module in.
  • Remove them
  • You'll need to reposition the the wiper module slightly to disconnect the plug.
Hope this helps

Starter location on saturn sc1 1999

The Starter is located under the intake manifold on th back bottom side of the motor!
The only way to remove it is from under the car!
Remove the Neg Battery terminal from the battery before going under the car.
If I recall correctly, there are (2) 14 or 15mm bolts holding it to the engine block, one of them is a Blind bolt, as you will only be able to feel its location on the back side of the starter. (tip, when replacing the bolt behind the starter, either have a small magnet inside the socket to hold the bolt inside the socket while tring to locate the hole. You could also use a small piece of paper or plastic bag to wedge the bolt head to the socket so it doesn't fall out while tring to locate the hole!
You will also have a 13mm nut holding the Positive battery and Alt. cable to the starter and a 10mm nut holding the wire coming from the ignition switch.
Hope this helps!

Tring to fix my panasanger side rear window one of

Roll the window down.
Lift up the door handle and pull out the two small pins holding it to the
inner door mechanism.
Get the right size star driver and remove all the little bolts holding the exterior plastic body panel onto the door frame.
Lift panel gently, up and out, and the guts of the door will be in front of you.
Visit a junk yard and buy a replacement for the broken part.

Wipers dont work

Listen to see if there is a motor running when you attempt to use them. If there isn't check fuse if there is a sound of a motor, it is most likely that the 13mm bolt on the motor itself is worked loose. The 2 wiper blades will need to be moved to access this which also takes a 13mm wrench and some prying. You don't have to take the shroud all the way off, just still a 2 x 4 between it to be able to access the bolt. Hope this works.

My 98 saturn SL1 wipers do not operate evenly and drivers side may run off the windshield. what is wrong?

At the base of the wiper there is a nut under the decorative cover that holds the wiper on. You can remove this nut and pull the wiper, realign it and replace the nut. With a few tries even a novice can get them where they belong.

Actually, all there is is the 2 - 7mm bolts above the center of the dash (in the cubby, under a couple of caps). Pry the cover up and you'll have access.
