Question about 1999 Mazda Protege
Could be the idle air control or the map sensor but before you go spend alot of money on parts i would really recommend taking it to a automotive shop because as much a crook the automotive industry is with these foreign cars it could cost twice as much in parts ----i did it and still ended up taking it to the shop and it was a small part that i would have never guessed. in the end i spent 1200.00 on parts that i didnt need and 250.00 at a shop and never had trouble with the car again

I got the problem fixed. Re-tightened the intake manifold and the fuel line to the injectors
