I had the same problem on my 1992 lesabre. The solution is to test the window motor itself with an external 12 volt power supply ( I used the car battery and some jumper cable w/ 2 screw drivers - not recommended for amatures! LOL) First remove the door panel which is difficult but you'll figure it out if you are qualiifed to repair your window yourself. Then test the window moptor if it functions (in both directions) THEN IT IS THE WINDOW SWITCH, A FUSE OR A RELAY. If the moter does not function then replace the motor
Good Luck
You can get a new window motor on ebay or at your local junk yard or (god forbid) the dealership

Is there a relay in the door panel of a 2000 buick lesabre that controls the window

No. The switch provides current over two wires directly to the motor. The switch also reverses polarity internally to move the window in the opposite direction. If your motor wont turn, use a meter to check for voltage. My switch went bad and would only roll the window down and not up. Had to buy a whole new switch.

Hello my 2000 buick lesabre wont let down or up. what do i need to get this fix, and what is the name of the black box inside the door because i think thats the problem

Are you saying your window will not go up or down? Have you tested the window/lock switch panel or (motor control switch) on the door? They do go bad. Sometimes you can switch the switch with a good one from another door and see if it works. Or you can try using the master switch and if it works on another window then it may be that switch. If you are sure it is not the switch then the part you are inquiring about is refereed to as a window regulator which is the motor that powers the window track. The regulator and track are sold as one unit.

The right rear window will not go up or down how do i fix that .It is a buick 2000 lesabre

first you have to check your fuses, but if the rest work, then you might be looking into a failed motor or window regulator. if fuses are ok then youre going to have to remove the rear door panel and disconnect the window motor and connect a test light to the harness and have someone depress the switch and see if the light turns on, if it does then your motor is the problem, if not then your door switch may need to be replaced.

Where is the power steering resvoir located on a 2000 buick lesabre

standing on the the passenger side of the engine compartment, it's located towards the firewall, below the alternator. use a flashlight, it's difficult to see. you'll have to use a long funnel to fill.
