When you replace your ignition coil is it the right one spec from factory? Also when ever you replace a coil it is good practice to replace leads and spark plugs at the same time and test rotor and cap as these parts if worn or damaged will put your coil under extra load making its life shorter.

I have an external wastegate with a 7psi spring and a blow off valve on my 96 turbo gsr and it still goes up to over 20psi how do i stop the boost getting so high. also it is a brand new top of the line...

The waste gate valve is there to dump the "extra" boost air direct to the engine thus bipassing the turbo. Remove and clean the gate valve; In all likelyhood is is stuck open.

1992 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR, 4wd 1.8 dohc turbo, cd5a, 4g93-t engine.

first thing to do is remove spark plugs and if they smell really fuely you will need to change them if that doesnt help you will need to get the microtech tuned for a good coldstart , this depends on if its running stand alone or as a piggy back
cheers.
please leave feedback.
