Question about Mitsubishi 3000GT
It is the multipin plug/connector inside the drivers door jam (near the door hinge). Common fault with door locks shorting on other wires (drivers door speaker wire in my case). Try releasing the retaining handle GENTLY (plastic handle that holds the multipin connector together) and wiggling the connector slightly apart (just enough to stop the "machine gun central locking - which is the symptoms name").
