Question about 1991 Ford Explorer
I have a 1991 ford explorer automatic eddie bower eddition and my brake lights wont work. i check all the fuses they are all good i replaced the break switch, the light bulbs, my turn signal and my flashes come on but not my brake light and the bulbs have two elements which means its double two things run off it but im all out of ideas i check the little plug that plugs into the brake switch and the side that the flashers run on works i checked w a tool but when i put it on teh other side where the brake wire runs into that side doesnt work so is it that?
Make sure that your hazard switch is all the way OFF I have seen this problem. But here power comes in the brake light switch from the fuse, when you press on the brake it closes and powers the other wire that goes up into the steering column into the turn signal switch and then out to the brake lights I can send you a wiring diagram if you send me your email to email@example.com
