Will not start

2 weeks ago my 1996 Jimmy fuel pump went out, I replaced the pump and it ran fine for about 2 weeks. then the other day it just stalled out and will not start again, I have fuel pressure and the pump is working. as long as i poor fuel into the throttle body it will stay running, but as soon as I stop it stalls back out. I have furl at the top of throttle body in the larg steel line but no fuel in the small steel line??

My 96 GMC jimmy will start once in a while but most times it wont. I have replaced the timing chain, fuel filter and pressure regulator and it still only starts if I pour gas in carb.

Has anyone checked the fuel pressure regulator and the injector spider ? The 4.3w engine uses a spider with one injector that supplies all 6 cylinders. And it runs at 65psi or more.

1996 F250 powerstroke 7.3L keeps dying

It is sometimes difficult to determine exactly what is wrong with the 7.3L engines. Many times it is hit and miss for the do-it-yourselfer. It sounds like you are getting enough fuel at first and then fuel is being constricted. You might want to try changing the fuel filter. Sometimes debris becomes lodged in the fuel tank switching valve which would require cleaning the valve or replacing it.
