Starter motor working fine and engages into ring but ring gear doesnt crank/turn when enaged. I took stsrter.motor off and tried turning the ring gear myself but it wont move. I just finish putting in a...

I would say that you have made an error in fitting the gear box that is jamming the flywheel to tight IF the gearbox didn't go all the way in so that the housing touched the rear of the engine all the way round then the clutch shaft has not fully engaged the spigot bearing in the crankshaft causing the problem. Loosen of the bell housing bolts until you can turn the flywheel to see if that is the problem.

We have an auto toyota camry lumiere G. the gears wont always engage. sometimes the reverse wont work either. we notice that when the car is running in neutral the oil level for the gearbox doesnt go down....

Well it sounds like you have a bad problem but we will try and find out why.
First the gear box pump is driven by the engine and that is the flywheel as the torque convertor which is bolted to it is the gearbox pump and 5 out of 10 that is the problem but also theselector on the side of the box could also be loose and needs tighten and adjusting as the pump supplys the pressure to the drive bands both forward and reverse but the oil level dosent have to move as if the bands are good then the most iol they will use is about 1/2 ltr max .So you might find that you need a change over convertor or a new filter in the Gear Box. either way its a Auto Matic Shop job ..

HOW CAN I FIX A GEARBOX OF AN AUTOMATIC NISSAN B14

Auto boxes are best left to professionals but there are some things you can do 1) check that the selector rod from beneath the gear shift to the gear selector on the side of the gear box is correctly adjusted, 2) make sure that the transmission oil is at the right level, new oil can be added via the dip stick tube. If you are adventurous and are able to remove the gearbox pan you might be to see evidence of the gear box damage, metal shavings etc. If you can remove the gearbox you may be able to replace a sheared splined input shaft (indicated by a an engine that is running but that will simply not engage gear). Anything repairs beyond this should be left to an expert or simply replace the gearbox

2001 Rav4 gearbox problem.

gears slipping out of mesh indicates
1 ---not properly engaged on selection
2--- failing output shaft bearings
3-- worm slip joint bush in the extension housing not maintaining alignment of the output shaft
The gear engagement is by dog teeth in the synchro ring for 5th gear and if that connection alignment is not maintained exactly by bearings and bushes the dog teeth move out of engagement at each revolution
AS reverse gear operates through a moveable spur cut gear to engage the counter shaft and the out put shaft and you are having trouble with reverse as well , indicates the out put shaft rear bearing is suspect or is moving in the box housing
