Interesting. Do you hear your compressor running like a refrigerator in July? Typically when the suspension is blowing fuses it has to do with the compressor being over worked by a leak somewhere in the air system. (usually in the air spring or the air lines) There are conversion kits available that make the fix to this inexpensive and permanent. http://www.strutmasters.com offers a high quality kit without cutting corners to cut costs and offer a lifetime warranty on all conversion kits. I hope this helps!!

What could be causing the front axillary fuse to keep blowing? Even bigger fuses blow.

fuses blow from over current( dead short) they are rated at lower than what is required so that the wire doesn't burn
If you keep putting in bigger fuses without fixing the dead short, eventually the wire will melt the plastic insulation off and the vehicle will burn

Rear suspension sags

Your vehicle has air bags that are part of the suspension. They are made of rubber and over the years thaey get cracks in them. This also can cause the air pump to run continusly to the point of burning out the pump or blowing the fuse, There is also a little arm that attaches to the rear end that may have come off. This part goes to a sensor that could keep it from not airing up the air bags, If you don't hear the pump coming on see if the fuse has blown. If so replace the fuse see if the pump comes on. If it pumps the vehicle up get a spray bottle full of soapy water and spray each air bag to look for leaks. There is a place that sells remanufactured air bags on the internet or try this number 18665972397. hope this helps leave comment

Ihave problem whit the light pop in the dash the air ride is on all teh time,i am look the manual an try turn the suicht on and off of the trunc is not work

Hi Alejandropen

Your Check Suspension light has come on for a reason and turning the on/off button will not remove this problem.

If your compressor does not come on

Go through the basics with the system starting with its power. Check the fuses for it in the engine bay fuse box.
Also fuse 1 and 4 in the car fuse box locate dnear trunk release.

Replace if blown and see if system works.

Checking compressor

Pull out the relay for the air suspension in the fuse box in the engine bay.
Pin 30 is the one located directly under the fuses above it.

Pin 30
Pin 86 -------- Pin 85
PIN 87

Put a peice of wire between 30 and 87 the compressor should come to life IF its workings, dont hold this bridge in for long just breifly to hear it come on then stop it.

If this works try switching the Horn relay to the Air suspension one and see if it comes alive.

If this does not work and all the fuses are ok, You have a problem with the air compressor and need to pull it out for testing or replacement.

If this works you may have an issue with the suspension controller.

Hope this helps

Air suspension inactive, HDC inactive, ABS light on, Range Rover

Air Suspension Inactive usually means there is a problem with the Air Suspension. However, it will also come up when alternator or battery voltage is low, or when you reset (disconnect and then connect) the battery. To reset it manually: while in P(ark), turn steering wheel all the way left, hold few seconds, and then all the way right, hold few seconds. All the warning lights will go out. Most common failure is the passenger front air strut, since batteries are prone to leaking acid, it leaks right on top of the rubber airbag and burns through it. Dealer willcharge you one hour to diagnose, or you can easily diagnose this by looking at the ride height of each particular corner of the truck. If its sits low, or emits hissing sound when you park the truck, its leaking. If you keep driving with leaky air strut, you risk burning up the air compressor, as its working extra hard to compensate for the leak. Replacing the strut is easy 45min job even for a novice mechanic, and you can do it yourself. Strut can be found new for approx $750 online. If you are fed up with air suspension issues, there is a $700 kit that converts the truck to springs, and disables all of the air suspension. Look up Arnott Industires
