Question about 1994 Honda Accord

1 Answer

94 Accord has trouble starting in the mornings..(moisture in the air?)

For the last week or so my accord will not start in the morning it sounds like the engine is going to turn over, but it never does.  Every time I have tried it in the evening it starts right up. We are thinking it has something to do with the humidity and moisture in the morning. The battery connections seem clean and the battery is new.  We were told it could be an electrical problem.  Would this mean something we could maybe do ourselves...a spark plug or something..?

This question will reflect how ignorant I am about the topic, but what are the starter connections? Do you think there is a website that can walk me through this? Or is this not something I should try to do on my own? Thanks.

Started my 94 accord this morning lots of white smoke it went away win it warmed up checked oil its clean also under oil cap normal no overheating still rund the same any ideas just had oil changed...

White smoke is usually coolant burning. Could have also been a large buildup of water/moisture in the exhaust.
How's the coolant level in the radiator ?

94-97 accord have common issue on key ignition. Key ignition seems to corroded. Solution take it apart clean or best way is to replace it. I know because I have done it to 94 accord 4 cylinders, 95 accord 6 cylinders and 97 accord 4 cylinders.

92 Honda Accord Wont Start After Rain (especially mornings)

Good Morning,
Check for moisture in the Distributor and use a blow dryer to dry it out. You may want to consider changing your Spark Plug wires to a "Moisture Resistant" type. Please let me know if this helps you and thank you for using FixYa!

Intermittantly the car won't start

Main Fuel injector relay is probably the culprit. Buy a second hand one for about 50 bucks and replace it yourself within 30 minutes.
