The simplest way to determine which wheel sensor is bad is to check for trouble codes by connecting a scan tool capable of accessing the ABS system diagnostics to the cars diagnostic port. Most auto parts stores will scan for codes for free, but I'm not sure if they use a scanner sophisticated enough to display ABS fault info. Use this link for more information: Wheel Speed Sensors Testing.

It may be something as simple as a broken wire.
Check the cable from the harness to the connection on the back of the hub.
I've fixed 4 cars that had "Service vehicle soon" "ABS " and"Traction" lights on by simply repairing the cable.
And yes the light goes off once repaired

How reset the security feature on 1998 buick lesabre

Unfortunately there is not a reset feature. You will either need to install a new lock tumbler with key sensor, or install the correct resistor in the harness to bypass the key sensor.

The trans action light comes on when I take off

TAC is traction assist control. It cycles your brakes as it thinks you are spinning your wheels or one is locked up while others are free. You probably have one bad wheel speed sensor.

The abs light on my 2000 buick lesabre will noy shut off we have changed brake rotors and pads what could the promblem be

The ABS system has nothing to do with replacing the pads and rotors, the abs is anti braking system the system is designed to keep the wheels from locking up when brakes are applied hard, . you will first need to have the abs computer scanned for codes, the computer will pick up a problem in the system and turn off the system and then turn the abs light on and last it stores a code in the computer, the code will tell you what part of the system has failed. the codes or code are very helpful in pinpointing the problem. the abs system contains speed sensors on all four wheel and a anti braking module and computer, the most common reason for a abs code is a bad wheel speed sensor. this is the most common problem seen, the code for example may read something like this poXXXXX right front speed sensors.again start by getting the codes, good day.

What sensor lights will come on when a wheel bearing goes bad in a 2001 buick century custom

Hello mobrien.
Depending on what your car is equipped with. Antilock brake systems work in conjunction with traction control. So if the antilock system has a fault, traction control will also default system off. It may also turn on low pressure in a tire if your car has that feature.
In the bearing/hub assembly on your Buick there is a sensor ring that rotates with the axle. A sensor is positioned close to that ring to read wheel speed.
A failed bearing doesn't necessarily damage the sensor, nor will a bad sensor mean the bearing is bad. But on your vehicle if one fails the assembly must be replaced as a unit.
I hope this answers your question. If you have another leave it in a comment and I will answer you.

My 1995 buick lesabre check engine light is on

Take it to a real mechanic, not the phoney physics at the zone. The speed sensor will not respond if the car is not moving. May be an air flow sensor. They will go bad if it has ever been wet. They can be checked with a scan tool.

it is a warning that the computer has detected an error in the anti-lock braking system. it could be caused a number of different reasons, you could be low on brake fluid, or you could need new front or rear brake pads or need adjusted, there could be a loss of pressure in the system and the lines may need bled
