Question about 1999 Pontiac Sunfire
About a week ago (last Sunday), I noticed my car wouldn't crank. It didn't make a sound at all. Well, I got a friend of mine to check the car out and noticed that one of the fuses was blown, which was the ignition one. Bought a new one and the car started working. Ok, the same thing happened Wednesday at work, so we pull in another fuse for the ignition and it started working again. Now, yesterday, it stopped crank and it's still not working...did buy 2 more fuses and both blowed. Can anyone help me with this? What is causing these fuses to blow? Is there something wrong with the ignition or starter? I recently got the battery and alternator check and both are fine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I have a very simalar problem my car wont crank at all but it seems as tho the fuses are alright but i dont know why but the car wont start at all but everything else works

You have a wire rubbing on something metal. Look at the wiring harness in the car and engine compartment. Try moving them around a bit and see if you can get the fuse to blow or not to blow.
