The coil is inside the front of compressor the electrical connector on the compressor that the coil for a block orifice tube forget it high pressure would go up pass 3oo untill pressure sensor cut the compressor you have to look if you have power and ground when the compressor not working or a bad sensor near the dryer 12volt positive bypass that switch i think that what it is, wire beeteen the 2 therminal send power to compressor the pressure that you have mean the ac system get cool off our low side is 40 not block you said 100 somthing the warmer it is the high side is higher our pressure look good its probably a sensor problem look at it pierre

1990 buick reatta starting circuit problems

You could have a bad relay in the start circuit. The relay is there because of the security system. If someone tries to jump the car to steal it, the alarm will disconnect the relay and the car will not start. I believe it is in the relay box in front of the air cleaner

POWER DOOR LOCK RELAYS

Dear fellow Elantranians,
I am an original owner of a 2002 Elantra (w/anti-theft module/ETACS), and have wrestled with the same problem for months: remote will unlock, but not lock doors.
The answer to the problem, at least in my case, was a door lock relay (Part #95250-2D000) located behind the center dash, to the right and below the radio and heater/AC controls (removal and replacement reasonably easy). A simple removal of one bolt and a wire connector, and the little devil is exorcised. It's been working without a hitch for more than two weeks, and expect it to continue for eleven years as the original relay did. I purchased this relay from a local salvage yard for $14.00, but a Hyundai dealership (jimellishyundaiparts.com), will sell it to you for $36.00.
Respectfully,
Lucky Elantanian

I had the pacifica on ramps changed the oil now it wont start

Clean your battery terminals take them off and clean them. Turn on your headlights if you turn the key and nothing happens and the lights are bright hit the starter with a hammer try it a few times if it starts you have a bad armature in the starter. If nothing happens and the headlights go out or dim the battery has a bad connection or is bad. Check under the hood on the right above the battery the relays one is the starter relay switch it out with one of the extra ones in there. Put a volt meter on the battery just because you charged it doesn't mean it is 12.6 just sitting and not below 10 volts with key on

Air conditioner suddenly not working.. No funny noise, just acts like it is not getting power. compressor kicks on and off checked relays behind glove compartment. Was told ac relay may not located with...

AC COMPRESSOR KICKING OFF AND ON.SOUND LIKE REFRIGERANT LOW.LOW SIDE SHOULD BE 20 - 36 PSI AND HIGH SIDE SHOULD BE 215 - 310 PSI. AC SYSTEM COULD HAVE A LEAK WHILE YOUR COOLING STOPPED. DRIVER SIDE WINDOW MOST TIME SWITCH WILL BE THE PROBLEM.REMOVE SWITCH SEE IF POWER GOING TO POWER WINDOW MOTOR.YOU HEAR WINDOW MOTOR TRYING TO WORK WHILE USING SWITCH.WINDOW REGULATOR COULD BE BINDING DAMAGED OR NEED LUBRICATING.OR MOTOR NEED REPLACED.IF POWER NOT GOING TO POWER WINDOW MOTOR THE CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD IF ITS THE ONLY SWITCH.TO TELL IF WINDOW SWITCH IS BAD SHAKE POWER WINDOW SWITCH WIRES WHILE OPERATING CONTROL SWITCH.IF POWER WINDOW WORKS YOU KNOW SWITCH IS BAD.TAKE CAR TO AC SHOP BECAUSE LET THEM CHECK AC SYSTEM BECAUSE IF YOU BUY 2 CANS OF R134 REFRIGERANT. AND YOU TRY CHARGING AC SYSTEM YOUR SELF AND ALL REFRIGERANT LEAKS OUT. YOU GOING TO BE OUT OF $30.00 STILL NO AC.THAT WHY ITS BEST TO LET SHOP PUMP DOWN AC SYSTEM CHECK FOR LEAKS BEFORE RECHARGING AC SYSTEM.

OK I OWN A 4 CYLINDER 1995 HONDA ACCORD LX.. FOR ONE MY CAR SEEMS TO JUMP WHEN I TURN THE AC ON.. TWO THERMOSTAT WORKS ON DASH BUT GAS GAUGE AND SPEEDOMETER DOESN'T.. THREE LIGHTS BECAME DIM ALL OF A...

well i cant tell you exactly what it is because to do the property diagnostic, id have to be there in person to tell you the exact problem. but what i do want to tell you is DONT buy a new transmission computer. who ever told you that either is just guessing or just wants to get money out of you. the tcu when bad does not allow your transmission to shift. the gas gauge and speedometer just seems to me as you need to replace your instrument cluster. either that, or your speedometer and your fuel pump connections went out at the same time. but i would bet on the instrument cluster. as for the a/c, i cant imagine it jumping, only the rpm dropping a little bit as it does pull in extra power, either way, take your car to different mechanics and get their opinions. hope this helps. goodluck

Cranks but wont start

you need to check for spark at the plugs while cranking.then check for fuel entering the intake at the injectors.you don`t say if its a 4 or 6 cylinder.if its a 4 cylinder you can look into the throttle body while someone cranks the motor and you should see fuel squirting into the intake.if you have no spark then check to make sure the cap and rotor is in good condition and the rotor is turning(if not then the timing belt maybe broken and needs replacing.also check the plugs as if they are worn so bad you won`t get any spark.a common problem on these is the coil pickup in the distributor going bad.there is a 2 wire connector that comes out of the distributor with a plug,if you follow this wire back into the distributor you will see the pickup.also check and see if you can hear the fuel pump running while cranking, you may have a bad fuel pump.you may have to remove the gas cap and listen at the filler neck or listen under the car were the gas tank is.if the fuel pump is not running then you can hit the fuel tank in the middle while someone cranks the motor and it might start.if so then the fuel pump is no good another common problem.there is a fuel pump relay under the hood on the drivers side that sometimes goes bad or there is bad connections.most of this checking is good for the 6 cylinder as well except you can see the fuel squirting into the intake.it could also be a bad computer that will have to be checked out at a shop.

My 03 celica ac indicator light flashes continuously. I was told by the dealer that I have a bad ac relay inside the dash and the dash would have to be disassembled to have it replace. Since most relays...

Hello. You have posted a great question here, one that other Celica owners may also have. The solutions is as follows:

You have a very common issue.

More than likely, you have a bad AC magnet clutch relay.

Toyota is aware of a high failure rate from these relays, and has issued a technical sevice bulletin regarding this.

You need to replace the AC relay, with the updated relay.
The old relay part number is: 90987-02022.
The updated relay's Toyota part number is: 90987-02028

Contrary to what your dealer is telling you, the relay is in the relay box under the hood. Look for the 'AC MG Clutch relay'.

Replace the relay, and you problem will be cured.

Ac quit running, compressor doesnt run,fan doesnt run,no bad fuses or relays that i can find, replaced controls

It may be your ignition switch. Bang on the bottom of your steering column with the key in the "on" position and see if the fan will fire up. My car is doing the exact same thing right now, but I can basically rub the bottom of the trim under the steering column and it comes on. It will also start when I hit a good bump on the road.

Good luck!

My 1996 jeep cherokee sports is turning over but not starting. No voltage to input side of coil. ASD relay seems fine, crankshaft position sensor??

The CPS is one of the first places to start, but remember that the signal goes thru the ECM first, which ultimately supplies power to the coil, I've had to replace the ECM on my 96 Grand Cherokee 4.0 3 times. The dealer wanted to replace the crack and cam sensors, but it was only the computer that was bad.  Sorry I cant give you any definitive answers but I did get it to turn over when I hit the computer with a wrench!
