if you have replaced the clutch , t will be a clutch plate put in back to front
If it is hydraulic clutch ,it will be a master cylinder or slave cylinder problem
if it is cable clutch , it will be a failed clutch cable
as the clutch is 3 parts and you dont want to take the gearbox down every time to replace a bit,best replace the bearing/friction plate and pressure plate at same time(much cheaper too...less labour costs)
you have to set theself adjuster to the fully released position .place a suitable tool against the adjuser cam and push it to the released position. in stall brake drum .pre load wheel bearing . pump brakes several times to set the self adjuster.
