Dead battery located in trunk,remote won't open trunk,how to manually open trunk

You should have a trunk lock cylinder in the trunk lid. Look to the right side of the license l plate by the license plate light and you will see a black plastic cover. Remove the cover to expose the lock cylinder then use your key.

Many People don't know exactly how to use the manual key attached to your remote to open the doors and trunk in case the battery is dead. All you have to do is slide the locking button in the back of your remote and pull the metal pre-cut key, then insert it in the trunk lock, turn key to the left and then push in. kawaboongha!!!

When you press the trunk open button, do you hear any "release" noise come from the trunk area? The issue may be a bad battery in the key fob OR there could be an issue with the transmitter located inside the vehicle. Do the doors lock and unlock properly? is the vehicle equipped with security or immobilizer? please advise

Check to make sure the button on the trunk latch is turned from manual unlock...they made that feature so only the key will work to open the trunk that way if someone breaks in the front of your car they can't hit the trunk release and get into the trunk...may be the same thing for your remote. The keyhole for the trunk is located on the wall behind the driver's side seat.

use your ignition key to open the trunk, the key hole is hidden just under the opening button and to the right side

you can charge the battery from the engine compartment. check your owners manual that is the correct place to jump and to charge the battery.

you should have trunk key all cars trunk can be open remote by the inside. if any fails you always have a trunk key. check your ignition key .i seen ignition keys do both. it cranks car and open doors and trunk.

cover under bonnet with a big P on it and negative is anything metal on the engine
