Question about 2001 Ford Focus
When going down the road it seems to not die but i can be going a speed and it seems to lose speed and acts like its not getting enough gas but when you let off of the gas pedal it stops doing that and it jerks or putts putts, and it seems to do it when its really hot outside in the mornings or in the night when its cooler outside it doesnt do it. what would my problem be? can you please help me?
It sounds to me like the coil pack has gone bad. A symptom is that the car will idle fine, but it stumbles when the motor picks up speed. It resembles a fuel problem and it does get worse when the coil has warmed up.
