If thier arent any teeth missing on flywheel then i would shim starter away from flywheel a bit if its too close and gear teeth are too tight, it will cause noise or possible miss as starter gear spinagainst leading edge of teeth on flywheel after not fully engageing something like hit starter when engine is already running.
Even if you have all the teeth on your flywheel it may still be slightly warped. which is why you should replace the flywheel or have it checked when you replace the clutch. this could cause your issue by placing the teeth slightly too far away or too close to the starter gear.
