When my 2003 buick rendezvous is at a complete stop it bogs down at taking off or strains at taking off. Once its rolling its fine even if i have to slow down it picks speed right back up.Just stains or...

Observe if you go down to the first gear when you slow down and pick up speed after. It may be an issue with the torque converter. If you have rough idling , you may have a dirty or faulty IAC valve.

When i drive and step on the gas it redlines and takes awhile to gain speed if i go slow on the gas it picks up slowly but everytime i punch it it shoots up in rpms

If it is a 5 speed your clutch is slipping. If it is an automatic the clutch pack is bad or torque converter problem.

Lack of power when climbing hills and slow to pick up speed
