You can not check AC oil level, it is mixed with the freon and it flows throughout every component in the AC system, however you can sample it for contamination by quickly depressing a charge port valve with a clean paper towel over it, if the oil is grey or black it is due to a failed compressor.

If somebody changed oil on a 1997 Honda accord coupe is there a possiblity they can damage the oil pan gasket?

Not likely. The oil is drained from the oil drain plug in the bottom of the oil pan. To damage the oil pan gasket, someone would just about have to remove the oil pan, a big job! There are probably 16 to 24 bolts or more holding the pan into place. During a routine oil change, there is no reason to mess with the bolts, with the possible exception of trying to reduce leakage by giving the bolts a little snug up.

How to replace oil pump 1997 honda accord does it need to be primed

You'll have to remove the oil pan to access the oil pump. And no it does not have to be primed. Why do you want to replace the oil pump? Did the oil pressure gauge indicate low pressure? If so did you check the oil pressure sending unit?

1997 Honda Accord Won't start. Plugs and wires have oil on them. Still getting spark to plug. Sounds like it wants to fire but fuel starved. Can hear the fuel pump when key is on. Puffs blue smoke...

I dont know why it wont start, but our plugs and wires had oil on them and we replaced the head gasket and it doent get oil on them anymore
