Hi check the fuses in the vechicle and if there ok you would have to see if there is a positive feed at the immobiliser as they are delicate circiuts you may have burned them out best of luck yates210456

1998 Jeep Cherokee -- car won't start. Turns over

have scanned to find problem code to get an idea of what it is. .it may either be the crank or cam sensor, check the crank sensor first. if it is bad it sends wrong timing info to pcm. therefore jeep will not start!! It is either the camshaft or crankshaft positioner. I would check the crank pos. first. Zach Cabot, AR

Sounds like your battery is way down. have it checked/charged and load tested. then have the charging system tested after you get it started.

Alarm went off, car wont start. reset switch??

Pull the battery cables, hold them together for 3-5 minutes, this resets the cpu in the car. That should fix it.

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport Ignition Lights Come on but wont crank

Try putting the car in neutral and starting. If its a manual trans it might be the clutch pedal safety switch or it may be something as simple as a loose battery connection.

This usually isnt a problem with chrysler vehicles.Do you have a good battery in it now? Will the starter engage?Try charging the battery overnight and doing a load test on it or take it to your local auto parts for the load test.Good Luck!!!!
