I have the same problem. The truck is at the 2nd repair shop and its been almost 9 weeks. It has a new fuel filter, new coil pack (it had a hole in it), a new/used mass airflow sensor, new spark plugs & wires. The repair guy just scratches his head & says he can't spend too much time on it because it doesn't help pay the bills. The check engine light does not work so he can't hook it up to a machine. Perhaps I should have it towed to the dealership (at this point it won't stay running). Anyone have any ideas?

Probably a no brainer, but I would pull the plugs and plug wires.

I have a 2002 toyota tacoma which had no previous starting issues, just didn't start one day. all electric comes on but no 'click' when key is turned, unable to pop the clutch to start. Had it towed to...

Explain further about "popping the clutch"
Do you mean you had the key on and it still wouldn't start when you tried to push-start it?
Possible buggy ignition switch is my first guess...

1995 Tacoma heater works only in recirculation mode

Hi, 2 possibilities exist.
1)The heater tap could be seized - to locate, follow the heater pipes that go tthrough the firewall back towards the motor, One of these will have a block on it with an arm and cable connected to it, check that the arm moves freely
2) the thermostat could be stuck open - this involves a bit more work to fix

2001 Toyota Tacoma keeps stalling on start up.

Check the battery cables. I had the same issues with my 96 tacoma, The battery cable connection at the battery can be cranked down but still be loose. Hard to explain, doesn't make sense, but just check it out.

If tune-up, wires etc, haven't been done in a while, it would be a good place to start. When were they last done?
