O2 dodge dakota sounds like it sucking air at low rpms

Most likey is just the sound of air being sucked into throttle body. Some vehicles make louder noises like that especially if it has an aftermarket cold air intake. Because the air filter box muffles that sound. It's possible that it has a vacuum leak as well which can make a sucking noise if it's large enough. Usually a large vacuum leak will affect the way an engine runs though

My 98 honda accord lx is making a vacuum noise only in park an the rpms go up its like a sucking and releasing sound any help????

Start checking all of your vacuum lines. Could be one that is cracked and not completely broken off. While the car is running listen under the hood and if you can't locate which one it is try wiggling each one.

What can cause the engine on my 1999 Oldsmobile 88 LS 3.8L (3800 series 2) to make a loud air sucking sound in my intake manifold

With the engine running open the hood and look/listen for a vacuum leak. One of the larger vacuum hoses has likely come off.

Back firering through intake, can not re install air filter tunnel, becouse oil spout in valve cover in the way.

sounds like your on the right path also make sure the firing order is correct and all vacuum lines are intact. sucking air can be checked with a can of starting fluid.low fuel pressure can cause backfire as well as low voltage.more details on the work that was performed may help diagnose easier

your problem is hard to figure out without more details. sounds like your air filter is clogged up, or the air filter tubes are loose and sucking in air, making it howl

Hello!! My Mitsubishi Monterero Sport maskes a weird noise when I first start it, it sounds like if there was a galon of water moving back and forward inside of the dashboard, but after start driving it...

my truck always does that. after running it for a while it pushes some of the excese fuild into the over flow and upon cooling off it sucks it back in and at times sucks air in with it. and upon starting it., it circulates that air pockets for a little while,. the next time you go to start your rig make sure your overflow tank is on the full mark when cold. this might help you,.
