The thermostat is located on the lower left side of the engine near the front.

The thermostat is on the inlet side of the water pump.

The thermostat don't work where is it located at to put it on the 99 chrysler 300m

Jacquelin! The thermostat n a 3.5 Chrysler 300M is on the block right next to, and toward the front of the engine by the oil filter. Yes, that sems a bit strange, but then I'm not a bit surprised about this engine any more. As the big radiator hose leaves the radiator finding its' way toward the block, it terminates at a traditional "goose neck" at the block behind the power steering pump- only accessible by removing the oil filter and using an extension and a u joint BUT FIRST: lower the anti freeze in the system by draining some fluid. But anyway- THAT'S where it is. Have fun, fix it up and GO!

Themostat is always installed with the spring end into the engine block. Same for all automobiles.

I cant find the themostat in my 99 chrysler 300m

Depending on engine:

V6: Follow LOWER radiator hose from radiator to thermostat housing.

V8: Follow TOP radiator hose from radiator to thermostat housing.

Please let me know how I may assist further.

How do you install a thermostat houser for a chrysler 300

You mean a thermostat housing? Thats not a commonly installed item as the old one is usually good enough to use over again when the thermostat is changed.
It is usually at the end of the upper radiator hose on the engine side. Try there. Make sure you have a new gasket from the parts house. clean the old gasket off very carefully. A tiny bit of rtv, very thin will help insure that it doesnt leak.
Drain the radiator first if you dont want a big mess. ;)

How do you replace the thermostat the correct way and bleed the air from the system? 2005 Chrysler 300 V-6 engine, it appears to have over heated and leaked coolant which is now dry all over the thermostat...

The correct way to replace the thermostat would be to replace the actual part with a new one, not from a junkyard or anything and put a new gasket in with the new part.
