Trasmission solenoid is inside the trasmission normally on the side of trasmission inside you have to remove the side of trasmission the solenoid itself 50 to 90 $ but labour that another ball game 2 to 5 hour labour plus oil hope it help fixya our post thanks pierre

There is a possibility that you are looking at the layout for another fuse panel... check under the hood and under the dash on the driver side.

Doesn't look like anything, unless you have done the
proper testing to find a failed part

How about going to a dealers parts dept & give them your VIN #
to find the part #,then buy on Amazon or Rock Auto

Doubt that switch has anything to do with OD

Where is the fuse box and location for a 1999 Ford contour se


The passenger compartment fuse panel is located on the driver's side under the instrument panel. The power distribution box is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment.

open the hood and look at what side the turn signal is located and there should be wires comn out of where it is located and a clip holding the baulb in place unclip an there ya go

For 1999 Ford Contour 2.0L MFI DOHC 4cyl the Vehicle Speed Sensor is located bBehind dash.
