Yeah I just bought a fuel filter for my 1994 ford explorer and I can't find where I left my repair book so I was just trying to find out instructions on changing it because my for explorer has a bog down problem so I changed the spark plugs and wires and the air filter and it's still bogging down so I am wondering if it's the fuel filter?

I have a 94 ford explorer 4.0 that turns over but wont start. i have spark at the wire and 38 lbs of fuel at the rail! what else can i do?

Did you change the fuel 8 dollar fuel filter in the back under the truck? You should fuel rails usually are not a problem ever in a bigger ford lincoln, Did you check all relays, locating the fuel shut off relay? why i ask, is when you turn the key to the point beofre start the ford goes wheeee, and thats the fuel pump priming its self, if you dont hear that you need to check your fuses, then locate the relay that controls that, ten dont get a new relay, just carfully crack the out side of it off, because its a little magnetic electical switch inside the relay which you can just push on to see if that is the problem, before you buy a new relay, its free.

Fuel filter location for 2000 ford explorer

The fuel filter on a 2000 Ford Explorer is on the driver's side, under the car, inside the frame, about where the driver's door is. You will need a special insert tool to disconnect the quick connectors.

Just changed plugs on 1994 ford explorer and it wont turn over wondering if its the gas ladder or fuel relay switch

Is it not turning over or not firing? If not firing, it could be bad crank sensor, coilpacks, or module
If no spark

If no fuel, bad fuel pump relay, plugged fuel filter, or low fuel pressure.

Where is the fuel filter located and how do you replace it on a l994 chrysler LeBaron v6-181 3.0L

Take passenger side rear wheel off, put it on safety stand, and look along frame rail, ahead of, or near there, in fuel line, should be mounted to frame with one bolt through bracket on filter. Just have to pull/pry those little clips out sideways, to release, then pull fitting off, then snap them back in when new one installed. make sure you relieve fuel pressure up at valve on fuel rail. (cover with rag, so no spray in face, careful.)

1994 ford explorer

alot of ford product have white clips that are removed and the end come off.if yours has a nut on each end ,you need what is called a line wrench,it has a slot to slide over the fuel line.a wrench goes on each end and you turn it counterclockwise to remove is under pressure,so be careful and you will lose some fuel.
the best way is to remove the fuel pump relay and run the vehicle until it dies out.then the fuel pressure is gone.change the filter, install the relay and crank for a few seconds and it will start
