If you do not have the owner's manual, this like should take you to the mercury website to the part where you can download owners manuals... http://www.mercuryvehicles.com/owners/default.asp

Hope that helps...........

recommend you replace the flasher unit. The book says your flasher is plugged into the fuse box by the driver's foot.

I am trying to locate the turn signal/hazard relay, it is not in the fuse panel. It does not work so I can't locate by sound. Where should I look?

Look in the fuse panel for the flasher, not a relay. It will be silver in colour,or clear glass, about 1" round and located in the fuse panel. This is probably your problem.

My 1997 mercury sable signal lights dont work right after I turn the hazard light switch on

The flasher module is responsible for the flashing of the turn signals and hazards. this device will fail overtime. you will need to replace this failed module asap. Replacing the flasher will restore the signal functions in this vehicle. (Check the bulbs before replacing the flasher)

Turn signal flasher

There are 6 relays on the driver side under the dash. None are labeled turn lights.
