hi there your still having a problem with the heater vents fogging up windows is it possible that your vent controll station is not opening or closing the apropriate vent gates open and close these vents to see if there changing the heat and or cold from defrost on the windscreen and to front vents blowing directly at you as well as the vents blowing heat to the floor check all of the vents in both hot and cold to see if they are changing when you switch the controll settings ok

I have smoke/steam coming out of my AC vents on my 2000 dodge durango weather the air is on or not. Only when it gets up to operating temp. There are no other mechanical problems. What could cause this?

a leaking heater core in the dash . does it smell sweet if it does it's antifreeze and steam that's sticky on the window is antifreeze mist coming from the fan blower / your heater core has sprung a leak im sorry to say.

Only cold air coming through heater on 1996 audi a4

I have read on an audi forums sitethat sometimes air gets stuck in heater core and can cause the problems you are experiencing. You need to get the coolant bleed. Easiest way would be to go get it flushed by one of those flushing machines. Hope this helps. I found solution at audiforums.com

Check engine came on took to garage for diagnotic check

Why not have 1 more scan done by a Chrysler/Jeep dealer. Sounds to me like the garage is lost on this one. Get a quote on diagnosis scan, doesn't mean you have to commit to repairs right away. I've seen more than one mechanic who had a scan tool, but didn't know what to do next when it comes to diagnosis.

Problem with heater

hi what you need to do is lift the bonnet find where the two heater hoses come out of the bulk head while running the engine they should both be hot same temp both hoses if not there is a air lock in the system if it was allright when it went in it should be ok when it comes out you will need to bleed the system the engine temp gauge is not low by any chance is it if so replace the thermostat but i am sure once systems been bled it will be ok yates210456
