Where is the starter located?

Just about all car it is under the engine.

Look up your starter on line to see what it looks like, makes it easier to identify.

I'm trying to find the starter in a Dodge Caravan.

Your best bet is to get a Haynes repair manual for that
car. There are step by step instructions for the removal
of the starter.
