Same problem here. I'm thinking it has something to do with the idle being set to low. I've read many posts on the oil pump, sending unit etc being replaced with no luck. Going to talk to my mechanic on how to up the idle speed because it doesn't seem to do it unless the car is below 750rpm.

I notice the same issue and when I rev it up, it goes away.

I have been told I need to replace 4 sensors.

I also have problems with my temperature guage.

    Love the car...hate the car!

I have the same problem. The oil light comes on when the car is @ at stop or slowing down. Sometimes it even goes dead. When i rev the RPM's up the light will go off. My oil is showing full. Has anyone got a solution yet?

From other sources:
The oil light that only comes on at idle or stop is due to a dirty or faulty Oil Sensor in the oil pan. They get gunked up due to a bad design and sludge build up. Easy to fix, just replace or have replaced at next oil change.

Why does my check gage light come on when i come to a stop

there ya go, the check gauges comes on because the engine does not have oil pressure or it could be the oil pressure sender that is bad.

My oil light on my keeps going on and off

If you have clean oil and plenty of pressure (check with echanical gauge) then sender uit is likely bad or leaking.

I own a 2004 Chrysler Concorde and my oil light comes on when i come to a complete stop and goes off when i accelerate. I have replaced both the oil pump and sending unit and the light is still coming on...

Thats a sign that either you oil pressure sending unit is going bad, the oil pump is going bad, or you have sludge possibly restricting the oil flow thru the screen of the oil pump.

Tea cup with a drip light comes one periodically with acceleration or sudden stop, only stays on 1/2 second

Sounds like your discribing the oil light. Does it look like this?

If this is it check you oil level if it low add some. Also if it has been a while like over 3,000 miles you would be better of to have the oil changed.
Running engine low or out of oil will cause servier engine damage so don't wait.

When it is cold outside the car shakes and cuts off and the battery light and oil light come on despite how long i let it warm up.

the lights come on do to the car shutting off the batt light comes on because the car is off and you are loosing power from all the electronics in the car the oil light comes on due to the car being off and it has no oil preasure

Oil light keeps coming on at an idle

ok. oil ight is probably nothing more than a faulty pressure switch. You can have pressure checked at same screw in port. 15psi is ok...just. very cheap to replace. Ign control module is probably the cut-out fault. You cant really test it; repair by substitution is the trick.

Oil light comes on, then engine ticks, then car cuts off

When you got stuck in the snow did it impact hard (quick stop or small drop like a deeper ditch)? If this is the case it could be the sending unit might have been dammaged in some way. I would have the shop take a look at.

Car stalls, oil light comes on, smoke from under hood

sound like the overheating of the engine did some internal damage. ethier an intake or head gasket or maybe even a warped or cracked head. worse case senero would be a cracked block. check the oil see if it looks milky like a grey sludge. most likely it is a head gasket. have a leak down test preformed to confirm. the labor for the head gaskets is 9 hours for 1 or 11.5 for 2. I would replace both and have the mechanic check the heads and block for cracks while he has it apart.
