Question about 2002 Audi A4
The Alpine CD changer in the trunk of my 1996 Audi A4 was working fine until I one day mistakenly tried to insert the magazine upside down. As soon as I met resistance I pulled it back out and inserted it correctly, but now I get a CD00 ERR reading on my Blaupunkt CD player when I try to go to CD mode. It seems as though this must be just a reset problem, as nothing broke. I've tried disconnecting the power line to the changer and the fuse to the CD player, but this fails to reset it and I continue to get the error reading. Can you tell me how to reset it?

Is there a CD inside the CD player? You could try pulling the fuse for the radio (look at the fuse box panel for the exact fuse) and leave it out for 10 secs, then turn the car to the on position and leave for 20-30 secs.. turn the car off and put the fuse back in and then turn the car on and if you;re lucky, the radio will reset... This works for Volkswagens and since Audi is the same company, it should work
