When you're your battery died it deprogrammed the central locking. Need to have that program again. Should be in the owner manual if not get a Chilton repair manual about $20 dollars.
Check for voltage at the driver door window harness. Also check for continuity when you try the switch using a multimeter
Hello BHRaymond,
I avoid dealers WHENEVER possible... (opinion)
Generally THEIR mechanics seem new/novice...
(not a bad thing.. everybody has to START somewhere
(just not on my cars))...
VERY HIGH prices & LOW ethics = BAD News...
Use clown guided computer-based information systems
(comic book approaches) and cut corners at every
opportunity and...
It was my personal EXPERIENCE they generally break
two things for any ONE they go after... (if you
catch them on a LUCKY DAY (more opinions)).
Your OWNERS manual HAD details (not today)
to "RESET" your windows (after power issues)
412/416 pages...
Chevrolet 2005 Colorado Owner Manual Automatic Door Locks
And
restore your locking preferences... Page 3-36
( which SHOULD have survived... a minor power incident
(more IMPORTANTLY... who-ever changed your battery
could have avoided all these issues if they had properly
maintained BATTERY ON THE VEHICLE...
(My point about unskilled & novice "mechanics"))).
SUPRISINGLY GM does not show them...
(Fords... you can add fob+keys easily)
It appears not so... use a locksmith (avoid dealers)

Important: Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle. The order in which the transmitters are programmed is important. The first transmitter programmed will be transmitter #1, and the second transmitter programmed will be transmitter #2. Use care to program the transmitters correctly.
Important: All key fobs must be programmed each time any one fob is programmed. The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed.
Install a scan tool and navigate to the BCM Module Setup menu.
Select Program Key Fobs.
Follow the scan tool on-screen directions.
When the programming operations have completed, operate the transmitter functions to verify correct system operation

I had the same problem to the T. I look online for all the same solutions and I can only tell you what worked for me. Actually what I think worked, HAHA! I went out to my truck and unplugged both battery terminals from battery and placed them together to supposedly reset the electrical system, "so I was told." After this for about 20 min or so, I went back out and in this order; re-installed positive terminal followed by negative terminal to battery. After this I checked locks and windows and surprise they worked. I've seen a lot of people say that all they did was wait and they worked later, so maybe it was that and not what I did, but who cares, they work now. Give it a shot and if it works for you, GREAT let me know, I HATE CHEVY CAUSE OF THIS......they wanted me to pay for a stupid diagnostic before they would help me........well screw you I fixed myself. LATER

The only way to program them is with a scan tool so you'll need to visit your local dealer to have it done. Here is how it is done.
