How to change air filter on 2006 Acura TL Auto with Nav

How do I remove the side engine cladding to remove the air filter housing? I try loosening the screws and they just turn in place. If I can get this beast out, changing the air filter itself is easy. Hope the K&N is worth it!
Thanks

The screws pop up when you loosen them. You just have to use a flat head screw driver and they will pop out completely

SOURCE: 2006 Acura TL - power windows - Passenger window

most new acuras have what you call an anti pinch sensors which means when there is an extra load on the power window motor, it is picked up by a controll module and makes the window go back down ie, you get your fingers cought between the window and the door frame. sometimes this happnes by its self because either the window is off track and not going up stright thus putting extra load on the motor. or, the window runner track its self (which is mostly rubber) is mislodged. causing the window not to fully rest in the full up position.

You'll have to remove the display and get the serial number off of it, call the dealer and get the code. Easier to register on Acuraowners.com and do it that way.

How do you change the air filter in a 2006 chevy aveo

As you're facing the vehicle head-on, the filter housing will be located in the far left side of the engine compartment. It looks like a big rectangular box with one corner missing and a big hose leading out of it.
Use the screwdriver to remove the four screws holding the cover to the filter housing in place. You're removing only the cover; don't try to remove, loosen or dismount the entire housing. Place the screws in your pocket or another secure place, outside the engine compartment. You're going to need them again.
Remove the cover from the air filter housing and take out the old air filter. Place the new air filter in the housing, making sure it's oriented the same way the old one was.

How do I remove the entire thermostat housing on my 1998 acura 1.6 litre engine

Welcome to Fixya

Thermostats almost always reside in a housing at the engine side end of the upper radiator hose. Drain coolant first, then loosen radiator hose to access thermostat housing. If you can't find the housing, consult your vehicle service manual for location. Loosen the bolts that hold down the thermostat housing. Remove the housing to reveal the thermostat. Use a scraper to remove old gasket material from all mounting surfaces. Place new gasket on housing. Use a small amount of grease or adhesive to hold it in place during reassembly. Reconnect all hoses. Close radiator petcock. Refill cooling system with recommended 50/50 blend of water and coolant. Run engine and heater to purge air from cooling system. Recheck the coolant level once engine is cool.

you can purchase a starter at an auto supply house like autozone, pepboys, etc... You can also purchase a Chilton's repair manual or some similar repair manual for the vehicle that will walk you through step by step at the supply house. When in doubt contact a professional auto mechanic.

Hope my advice helps please do not forget to rate/vote my advice.

Steps:
1) Remove the lower clamp from the front rubber hose (air horn)
2) Pull up on the entire housing (gently but firmly ... don't yank it) and disengage it from the engine
3) loosen and remove the clamp to the flexible air intake hose on the right side of the engine (at the air cleaner side ince the hose goes through the wheel house)
4) With the air cleaner housing removed from the engine compartment, turm the housing over and remove the seven screws holding the lower part of the housing to the upper.

How do i change the cabin filter in my acura 2009 tl?

The advise by Techbuster was a bit off. The '09 is a bit different than the earlier models. To change the filter, pull the center divider in the glove box straight forward. The cabin filter housing in immediately behind it. Push the two clips on the outer edges inward and slide the tray out. Replace the filter, reinsert the tray, replace the center divider.
