You will have to determine where the sound is comming from, is it from the engine or near the back at the muffler. It could just be loose or rusted baffels in the muffler or the inside of the cat converter is breaking up.

theres wires that go to the starter that could have come loose. sometimes theres fusible links in those wires that go bad.
but most likely you have a bad fuse somewhere

It sounds like maybe the baffles in the tank have broken loose. If that is the case then you'll need a new tank.
