Question about 1990 Honda Accord
Hey yeathe rpm gauge on my honda is wacko when im driving at a steedy rate the rom gauge starts jumping up and down the car dosent rev up or anything the gauge basically goes crazy do u guys know what this problem might be
Bad ignition coil. 100% Once the weather gets nice and hot a little resistor fails in the coil causing 2 problems. the transmission may start acting funny when the torque converter trys to lock. second the tach needle will start to bounce. you can get a new oem coil from honda for around 90 bucks.

You probably have a faulty sensor at the transmission.
Go to your local parts store, and they can give you the part and how to install it. It's pretty easy.
