94 toyota camery no spark

1994 toyota camery 2.2 eng. no spark at plugs. I have already replaced ignition module, still no spark. Everything else seems to be ok, eng. turns over good timing belt is intact ect... The car just shut off one day. I have also replaced cap & rotor also spark plugs. what would be the next guess? Distributor & Coil seem to be one unit.

The one end of the plug lead connects to the spark plug. The other end of the plug lead is connected (clipped in) to the electronic ignition distributor cover. I please want to know how to disconnect the plug lead from this cover?

I had the same problem recently but replacing the ignition Coil under the distributor (inside) solved the problem. Also replaced the distributor Cap and rotor at the same time.

Have a look at:
Test the ignition system output, ignition systems can vary in configuration but operate on the same principal. Ignition systems can consist of a coil, pick up coil, crank angle sensor, cam angle sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor and a distributor and any variations of these components. An ignition coil is a voltage stepper coil that transforms a low voltage (12 volts) signal into tens of thousands of volts needed to jump the gap of the spark plug. This coil is activated by an ignition module triggered by using the camshaft/crankshaft angle sensor, timing is adjusted by the ECM (computer). This primary electrical signal is generated by the ECM which calculates spark timing by using a variety of sensors including coolant temperature, mass air flow, and oxygen sensors. To perform a basic ignition output test you must have a test light and follow this ignition system output test video.

If the ignition system test is weak or non-existent test the car fuses, both under hood power distribution center and the fuse panel under dash. This test is performed with a test light tool. The test light should illuminate on both sides of the fuse, if not the fuse has failed and needs to be replaced. If the fuses are ok a manufacturer specific repair procedure is required and an online auto repair manual is needed to continue. If the ignition system tests ok proceed to the next step.

94 Toyota celica after it warms up it stall and wont start until it cools

You'll have to figure out if you are loosing fuel to the injectors or spark to the plugs to proceed.
Could be a long list of things such as the coil or ignition module, fuel pump, or a relay.

94 toyota camery 4 cyl wont start Ichecked the fuel injectors there ok checked fuel pump works fine replace distributor cap and the ignitor but I dont get a spark at the sparkplugs.henrys

check all efi and ign fuses first...then check pickup coil and ignition coil in distributor w/ ohm meter...since you already replace the ignitor, then mostly likely it's the pickup coil or ignition coil...buy the whole

94 toyota tercel with no spark

Does it got a distribiter or does is it have a coil pack.I'm thinking an distribiter with 4 spark plug tirminals,I would look into the Ignition Control Module if it has one.I looked at a parts listing for the car and it shows it has one but looked at a Typical Ignition System Schematic and it doesn't show the igniton control module in there. But i would think it is needed to control the spark.I would look into it and see if there is one,if there is i would test it that would be my guess of what's causing no spark.I got a pic of the ignition control module and theTypical Ignition System Schematic for you.

Hope it helps
