Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
I have a banging noise in front end, sounds just like when you have bad sturts, just put new shocks was not it. any help?? thanks for your time!
When I had this problem on my 99 Explorer, one of the bolts for the sway bar was broken. It is a relatively easy inexpensive fix.

It could be bad wheel bearings, cv joint or ball joints try turning your wheels all the way to the left and accelrerate forward then try the same with your wheels all the way to the right and if you hear it it's your cv joints,or grasp your wheels top and bottom and see if theres any play or any noise if there is it's either your wheeel bearings or your ball joints
