I just need to know how to remove the Nissan emblem on the back of our Xterra, the back hatch needs to be painted, am not sure if it is taped/glued on or connected with pins...

Had the same problem removed the hatch interior panel, removed a little grim from the working parts, loosened the 10mm bolt securing the lock motor, manually worked all the parts and sprayed a bit of wd-40. Its been about a week and no problems since. I did this because of two problems 1 using the remote the lock wouldn't fully disengage (but could hear it working) and 2 would also encounter problems trying to manually unlock with the key.

One way you can do it, is to remove the paneling off of it and locate the lock mechanism and turn it by hand. However, you'll need to keep a phillips screwdriver (possibly) in the vehicle, incase it's needed to remove speaker covers (speaker, etc) if installed and hinder the paneling to be removed otherwise.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

No, like others said, there's an access plate under the rear seats. Most imports (Honda, Toyota, Nissan) have this access plate to get to the pump. Some domestics don't (90's Camaros etc)
You dont have to pull the whole rear end out. remove rear wheel and remove the brake drums. theres 4 nuts on the back side of the brake backing plate which holds the axles in. once you get the 4 nuts loose you can pull the axle out (might need some force to pull out). You should be able to take the differential cover out to inspect the gears.
I have a seperate remote start/alarm by viper and it's been acting up lately. So I had to use both remotes to unlock my car but got the back hatch open. It does still act up and seems like it's sticking. I'm going to try and give it a shot of wd-40 and see if that helps at all? If not then I don't know what to do? Maybe get rid of it then?
Open the back lift door. Inside next to the lights there are screws that need to be removed before you can get the whole parking light off. After you get the screws out, you will have to force the whole plastic light cover to get to the burn out light. Once you get the whole light out, replace the bulb and follow the process in reverse.
