Question about 2001 Ford Focus
THE SPEEDOMETER KEEPS DROPING TO 0 THEN COMES BACK ON AT THE RIGHT SPEED.ALSO THE MILES PER GALLON AND THE MILLAGE ALSO GOES OFF.DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THIS?
There is no speedometer cable on a Ford Focus. But, it does have a vehicle speed sensor on the transmission.

Cleanup and desoxyde the speedsensor plugs, the speedsensor connector and the ground connector on the engine (cleanup all the ground connectors anyway, thats a ford... );
or change the speed sensor...

100% the vehicle speed-sensor on the top of the gearbox. Can be a pain to remove, but cheap to buy.
best of luck.
check vehicle for fault code, had the same problem and it gave a code on my obd2 reader..
