How many fuel filters are on a 99 blazer? - 1999 Chevrolet Blazer

Maybe the fuel filter is clogging up, and only letting a bit of fuel through it. Sounds like when giving it gas, it is starved for fuel. God-Bless!

Did you change the fuel filter also? Look at the air filter. If you have throttle injection, make sure both injectors are working. Might want to clean throttle also. Check for codes? Idle air control motor stuck could cause this. Tune up maybe. I would check compression of the cylinders before putting any more money in it.

Check fuel filter and fuel pressure.

check your ignition timing, check your throttle position sensor. check your maf sensor.

The fuse would not allow the fuel pump to work,then not work,replace the fuel filter first,if this does no good,have the fuel pressure checked.If this was helpful,please rate,thank you.

If you already swapped the fuel filter then the odds are that it is the Fuel Injectors which will run around $400 in parts and another $300ish in labor.

I had this problem with mine and after reading more reviews I learned the 95-99' Blazers are lemons and it was the worst vehicle purchase I could have ever made. I spent $2000 repairing mine before selling it for $1500 in 2006.

Could be plugged fuel filter, faulty fuel pressure regulator (check your pressure) and most probable is a sticky or dirty injector. Do check your timing as well.

I would make sure the spark plugs are in good shape and also replace the fuel filter every 35000 miles.

fuel filter is acheap part ur car needs and it cause the same, or coil can go out slowly. take it parts stare to have it checked good luk claymister

there is a lttle type of valve filter in the gas line the size of a spark plug, i had same problem.
