Question about 1999 Porsche Boxster
My check engine light is coming on, the oil has just been changed and the water level is good, the oil and air filter was both just changed. what is the problem?
I have a 1999 boxter and i will like to now what kind of moter oil it takes

If you go to an auto parts store, they can probably read the code for you. Once you have the code, do an online search for Porsche ODBII codes, and you can findout what the issue is. The problem can be one of many different things, and there is no way to diagnose it without knowing which code activated the light. You also don't state mileage, if there is any rough idling, etc.
