On my 96 Grand Am,located on a line right behind the radiator ,there is a nozzle which the a/c boost is hooked up to.It should have a plastic cap covering the nozzle. It might might possibly be blue, but I'm not sure.

How large is the freon container, is it like a gallon size?

There is a sticker on the radiator support or on the hood, where is the Freon capacity indicated for your vehicle. If I'm not mistaken it should be 1.6LB.

How to put in freon in a 2004 pontiac grand am?

Hook Freon can to the line and let it charge the system. Then disconnect and recap. Most places that sell Freon, such as autozone can give you some direction. It is quite easy. Also look it up online to get a video or illustration.

1995 grand jeep cherokee won't take freon why

You do know the compressor must be running to allow the system to be charged, right ?
If the system is low you have to jumper the low pressure switch or otherwise provide power to the compressor to put new cans of freon in.
And it will only go in on the low side of the system, which should be the only side you can connect the hose to.

1995 pontiac grand am. need to know where to fill the freon

Hi, Freon is a gas or liquid that has to be pumped in to you cars cooling system.
You need a special machine to do this. Most modern cars don't use Freon anymore.
Now there is an enviromentally safer product that they use ( R134a )
You may have to make some changes to you system to make this work. Good luck.

I need to know how many onze of freon 134A need the a/c system to 2000 grand cherokee 4.0 liter 4X4 6 cilnder

No you don't. Trying to put freon in your car is not only expensive, it's dangerous and illegal. At $30 a can you don't want it to leak out and you have to be licensed by federal law in order to do it anyway.

Air conditioner only works while moving. The AC stops cooling when stopped and idleing. Anyone know what causes this?

Your freon level is low, and not circulating on slow compressor speeds. Stop by any shop that has a sign stating they work on a/c and they can recharge it for you in a few minutes. Here where I live they charge about $20.00 labor plus a charge for the freon they put in, they sell it by the pound.
