Question about Hyundai Motor 2002 Sonata
Can you put a timing light between one of the coils on the coil pack and the lead that goes to the sparkplug. ?
Do you need a high voltage timing light or can a standard timing light be used?
Will this cause any damage to the electronic control (computer)?
I'm reading your question.
ON your Santa fe V6.
You can't put a timing light. because they are a COIL ON PLUG.
The secuense of the spark from the coil.
Is completly diferent that distributor engines.
The timing on your vehicle is not ADJUSSTABLE.
NOTE: IF you want check the timing on your car,
The only way is with a Computer Diagnostic . Capable to get PID data. To see cam and crank syncr.
