This just started happening. the right headlight won't turn off even after i pull the key, i checked for loose grounds next to the battery they seemed good and tight, also the truck doesn't always start when you turn the key sometimes it take 10 try's these problems both started at about the same time. the starting problem was first though. the truck is standard 5 speed. any help would be great.

THIS KINDA COMMON ON FORGEIN CARS AND TRUCKS , SOMETIMES YOULL HEAR A CLICK AND SOMETIMES NOTHING, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A BAD STARTER, IF YOU GET SOMEONE TO HOLD KEY IN THE CRANK POSTION WHILE YOU TAP STARTER WITH A HAMMER LIGHTLY IT MAY SPIN OVER , BUT THIS DOES SOUND LIKE A DEAD SPOT IN THE STARTER AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, GOOD LUCK.
if i am thinking right there is a philups screw you have to loosen do not take it out only loosen then the clip is able to move then you should be able to take the black lock ring off turning it counter clockwise and pull it out
it sounds like your ignition switch could be bad, it is mounted on the steering column under the dash, it is the actual switch that activates the ignition and starter when you turn your key. if it is going bad it will give the same symptoms that you have described.
