If you over charge it it will do exactly what you describe when you start the compressor the pressure goes up up up to a point the sensor on the line cut out the compressor pressure goes down start over again if you dont have gauge to see the pressure start everything remove some gas untill you see the compressor stsrting if compressor stay on its enought thanks pierre

My 1995 Chevy Silverado blows cool air then warm air. It goes back and forth between cool and warm.

You have a flow restriction, the orifice tube,(inline filter) on the low side(suction)a/c hose.Check close by the dryer and lines for freezing over,if so evacuate, then flush a/c system, install new orifice tube and recharge with new oil and freon.

Ac blows cold air for about 15 minutes then starts blowing warm air then starts blowing cold air again freon is full

Freon is not full. If it goes back and fourth it is pumping then reaching a low pressure on the low side below 35 psi. Pressure while car is off should be pegged. Check at idle should be around 50 psi and 35 psi at 2000 rpms.

Good luck. If problem persists evac system replace dryer and recharge.

2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS after adding Freon A.C runs warm and cold

It sounds like by adding refrigerant to the system it may be over pressurizing. When this happens it will cycle on and off.

You will need to hook up a set of manifold gauges and monitor the high and low pressures to see what is happening.

After freon charge, AC went WARM

The compresor can be damaged from to much or to little gas..

I would have it checked..

2000 buick lesabre 3800 has warm air blowing out two driver side vents in A/C mode, but the two passenger side vents are blowing cold. any suggestions?

I had same problem on 2000 Lesabre blowing cold on passenger and warm on driver. I fixed it by adding more freon even though it had 28 pounds of preasure. Now it works great!
