Question about 2003 Volkswagen Beetle TDI
When its cold outside the transmission seems to hang up in neutral for a few seconds...normally if you let up off the brake the car will move forward, but it sets there as if its hung up. I solved the problem during the Winter by letting the car warm up before driving. Now that its Summer there's not an issue, but Winter will be here in a several months......any ideas, suggestions? Thank you
I would probably begin by servicing the trans if it is time. try the obvious stuff first like trans fluid level, and there is a screen in there that filters the fluid if it needs to be changed it can make the trans act funny. Any oil change place should do it at a reasonable price. Hope this helps
