SOURCE: how to change spark plugs on 2005 acura tl

you need a 6 inch extension, short 3/8 ratchet, 5/8 plug socket, 3/8 swivel "u" joint, (sold at sears) 8mm 1/4 drive socket deep well and 1/4 inch ratchet.

find the coil packs (6 total, three in each head.)
remove the two retaining nuts holding each coil pack using 1/4 8mm socket and ratchet.
twist the pack to break the sticking boot below.
pull up (be careful to not rip the boots however it may still happen but rare.)
remove coil packs, the rear is a little more difficult with the intake.
use 6" extension and u joint and ratchet to remove plugs and replace.
reverse order to assemble. Good luck, and hoped this helped.

SOURCE: 96 acura tl 3.2l is overheating+signals wont work

Start with the easy one (hopefully). You probably have to replace your turn signal flasher. It's located behind the dash, driver side of steering column in the relay block (just pull out to remove).
Your overheating problem: Are you losing coolant, or is the car just running hot? Any leaks, puddles?
Check the cooling fans to make sure they are kicking on as the engine temp rises. If not, you may have a bad switch that is not telling the fan to go on. If fan(s) are operating ok, check the thermostat. If it isn't opening properly, it could be the cause of the overheating. If you have a leak in the system, then when it gets too low, it starts to overheat. Many possibilities, So, let me know the answers to the above so I can help further if needed.

SOURCE: My 99 acura tl is overheating, when i turn the A/C

check if the radiator fans are not working , what happend ..the A/C condenser located at the front of the radiator transfer the head into the radiator overheating the engine, that;s way they have to be always on when the A/C is on..also check the coolant level, if it is low you can have the same problem..

My car overheated shut off on me and now it wont stay running unless my foot is on the gas

Sounds like a cracked head. Or possibly a bad head gasket.
Either one of these would explain water coming out of tailpipe.

My car overheated due to cooling fan malfunctioning. The spark plugs were burnt so i replaced them and the wires too. My heads weren't cracked and there is compression but my car wont start and there is...

back fire is due to a wire in the wrong place or valve sticking check firing order again. also check under cap (providing you have a distb) for condensation

Car overheating

if ur antifreeze keeps showing low or none , there is a leak in the system. check for leaks in the radiator or in the colling systems piping.

Make sure the electric fan is coming on with the compressor...If not that will happen. May be a bad fan relay.

Rplacing spark plugs

If the car turns over but does not start, I would replace your ignition igniter and not the plugs. Not all of your plugs will quit at once.
