Check the fuses the fuse for this can be found in your owners manual. if the fuse is good and the lite for the rear defrost lites up the rear heater strips on your rear window may be bad the only repair for that would be having the rear window replaced

SOURCE: 2006 impala rear glass heater not working please

Locate the fuse box. Look for rear defrost on label on cover of fuse housing; or your owners manual for this fuse. If this does not help, and your fuses are ALL in working order, then locate the wiring for your rear defrost and follow it. There may a breaking point.

Could you show me a video on how to put the heater core on a 2006 chevy uplander

Unfortunately there isn't one for the Uplander, just the Impala. Check out the video on clearing the Uplander heater core.

Im working on a 2006 chevy impala lt.....im replacing the heater core and i cant get the heat steaks off......all the manual says is that i need to use a chisle......but do i cut them off and if so what do...

I would drill them dimples by the heat stakes out and install heater core cover screws. Both inside the heater core cover and the heater air outlet cover. use a 7/32" or a 5.5mm bit.

Rear defrost dont work on my 2006 chevy impala. Found relay but has no fuse. all fuses under hood are good and the ones on passinger side kick panel are good. light lites up on switch but no power at rear...

it works off heater fuse and has relay which you found and is good .the problem is a breake in the heating elements in the window. they can be fixed w/out replacing window . check each element in window w/ohm meter .put aluminum foil around the pos. lead on meter to check the wire.

you only need to replace what is bad it has to be tested with a tpms scanner, and you only need to replace the one, some just need to be calibrated after replacing. let me know what happens

2005 chevy impala rear driver power window stopped going up.stuck

If neither switch works it is a bad connection at the motor or bad ground or a bad motor. Remove the door panel unplug the motor push the switch and see if there is 12volts on the wires if there is the motor is bad There are small brushes in the motor that go bad tap on the motor while pushing the switch if it works that way replace it
